- Wooden letter B (or cut one from cardboard)
- Yellow and black yarn
- Scissors
- Glue
- Black pipe cleaners
Instructions:
1. Prep Your Yarn:
Cut several strips of yellow and black yarn, long enough to wrap around your letter B multiple times. You’ll be alternating colors to create a bumblebee effect.
2. Start Wrapping:
Begin wrapping the yarn around the letter B, switching between yellow and black to make stripes. You can use glue to secure the beginning and end of each yarn strip, or simply tuck the ends under other yarn pieces to hold them in place.
3. Crisscross the Center:
When you reach the middle of the letter B, you may need to crisscross the yarn or loop it creatively to fully cover those areas. Don’t worry if it gets a little messy, it adds to the charm.
4. Attach the Antennae:
Take two black pipe cleaners and wrap them around the top of the B. Twist them to secure and bend the tips into little curls to make cute antennae.
