Instructions:

1. Cut the Acorn Shape

Cut an acorn shape out of the center of a paper plate for the base. From the remaining rim of the plate, cut a curved shape to use as the acorn’s cap.

Paint the acorn base (bottom part) tan. Paint the separate top piece brown. Let them dry completely.

Tear brown construction paper into small pieces. Crumple or bunch them slightly for texture.

Glue the brown cap onto the tan acorn base. Then glue the bunched paper pieces onto the cap section to give it a rough, nutty texture.
