Kids can be picky with their snacks, any parent knows this. That’s why I love these kid friendly snacks.

These No-bake peanut butter oatmeal balls are simple to make and you’re kids are sure to love them. If I can get my son to eat these, rest assured, just about any kid will love them…

There’s just a few simple ingredients that will provide nourishment to your child and this snack doesn’t require a ton of time from you.

It’s as simple as adding 6 ingredients to a bowl and mixing them up.

After you mix all the ingredients together, which takes you about 10 minutes, cover the mixture and place it in the fridge for a 30 minute rest.

That 30 minute chill time helps make the next step a little easier.

After the 30 min chill, you’ll want to remove the protein balls from the refrigerator and start rolling them into little balls.

The chill period in the fridge helps keep these from sticking to your hands when you roll them into little balls. We try to roll them in to balls that are about 1 – 1.5 inches in diameter.

Depending on the size of the balls you roll them into, this recipes will make around 25 – 30 power bites.

No-Bake Peanut Butter Oatmeal Ball Ingredients

These oatmeal balls have very few ingredients which makes them pretty easy to make.

Here’s what you’ll need to make these tasty treats:

  • 2 Cups Rolled Oats
  • 1 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 2/3 Cup Honey
  • 1/2 Cup Dark Mini Chocolate Chips
  • 4 TBSP Flax Seeds
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 Cup Coconut (Optional)

Recipe Directions

Step 1: In a medium size bowl add the Rolled Oats, Chocolate Chips and Flax Seed. Stir to mix. This is the step where you can add the optional coconut.

Step 2: In the same bowl, add the honey, peanut butter and vanilla extract. Stir until all ingredients are mixed well. Cover and place in the fridge for 30 minutes.

Step 3: Remove the mixture from the fridge. Using a spoon and your hands, roll spoonfuls of the mixture into balls. Refrigerate the peanut butter oatmeal balls when you’re done.

You can make them as big or as small as you’d like. We choose to make them about 1-1.5 inches in diameter.
