Supplies Needed for Your Penguin Craft
Before jumping into this penguin craft, let’s review some basic materials you will need. Most of these items can be found in your home, at a local craft store, or on Amazon.
If you don’t have an item on the supply list, adjust as needed.
- Juice box
- Black construction paper
- White paper
- Orange paper
- Scissors
- Glue stick or liquid glue

Instructions for Making a Penguin Craft:
1. Wrap the Juice Box
Measure and cut a piece of black construction paper to fit around the juice box. Wrap it snugly and glue the ends together to secure it.

2. Create the Penguin Belly
Cut a rectangle from white paper, then round one end to look like a penguin’s belly. Glue it to the front of the juice box like in the picture below.

3. Make the Eyes
Cut two white circles and two smaller black circles. Glue the black circles onto the white ones to make the eyes. Attach them near the top of the juice box.

4. Add the Beak
Cut a small orange triangle and glue it under the eyes to form the beak.

5. Set Aside to Air Dry
Admire your masterpiece and then set it aside to dry!

Now for the fun! Let your kiddos enjoy their adorable juice box penguin!

- Penguin-themed snacks – Think mini powdered donuts (like snowballs), black and white cookies, or cheese and crackers to match your penguin’s colors.
- A cozy winter story – Snuggle up and read a penguin-themed book together for some quiet time after crafting.
- Arctic sensory play – Set up a simple bin with “snow” (like rice or cotton balls) and let your penguin join the adventure.
- Penguin coloring pages – Keep the creativity going with a quick coloring activity.
- A surprise lunchbox note – Add a cute little message to go along with their penguin friend for an extra smile at lunchtime.
It’s such a simple craft, but pairing it with these little extras makes it feel like a magical moment your kids won’t forget!
