Instructions:
1. Cut the Pie Slices
Start by cutting a white paper plate into triangle-shaped “slices” to resemble pieces of pumpkin pie—you can use kid-friendly craft scissors like these safety scissors for little hands.
These paper plate pumpkin pie slices form the base of your craft, making it an easy and mess-free project. If you need paper plates, this bulk pack of paper plates works perfectly for craft time and snacks!

2. Paint the Pie
Paint the main part of of each slice orange, leaving the wide end (the crust edge) unpainted. Then paint that crust edge brown. If you don’t have brown paint, markers work just fine.

3. Add Whipped Cream
Pumpkin pie is never complete without a little bit of whip cream! Once the paint is dry, glue a giant cotton ball in the center of the pumpkin pie slice for a fluffy dollop of whipped cream.

Let it Dry
Allow your pumpkin pie slices to dry completely before displaying to make sure all the paint and glued-on pieces are fully set. Once dry, your finished pumpkin pie paper plate craft can be proudly displayed on the fridge, added to a festive fall bulletin board, or even used as a cute DIY decoration for your Thanksgiving table.
Let your kids show off their creativity while adding a homemade touch to your autumn decor!
