Supplies You’ll Need:
To make this diy marbled heart painting, gather these materials:
- Shaving cream
- Liquid paint or food coloring
- Glitter
- Paint tray or shallow bin
- Cardstock
- Scissors
- Popsicle stick (for swirling and scraping)

Simple Marbled Heart Craft
Step 1. Prepare the Tray
Spread a thick layer of shaving cream inside a paint tray or shallow bin. Sprinkle glitter over the top for a sparkly touch.

Step 2. Add the Colors
Add several drops of red or pink paint onto the shaving cream. Use a popsicle stick or skewer to swirl the colors gently, creating a marbled pattern.

Step 3. Cut the Heart
Cut a heart shape out of cardstock. Keep the design simple, so it presses evenly into the marbled surface.

Step 4. Press the Heart
Gently press the cardstock heart onto the shaving cream. Make sure every part of the heart makes contact with the swirled colors.

Step 5. Scrape the Excess
Lift the heart straight up and place it on a protected surface like parchment paper or a table covering.
Use a popsicle stick to scrape off the shaving cream. As the extra cream comes off, the marbled design appears underneath.

Step 6. Dry and Display
Allow the heart to dry completely before displaying it, adding it to a Valentine card, or using it in an art project.
