How to Make a Fall Tree With Real Leaves
Follow along and make your own fall tree with real leaves!
Step 1: Collect Leaves and Sticks
Go on a nature walk and collect a variety of fall leaves, sticks, and twigs. Place them in a bin. If desired, allow them plenty of time to dry out.(You do not have to wait until they dry for this craft.)

Step 2. Glue Sticks
Choose a sheet of construction or cardstock paper in a fall color (orange, red, yellow, or brown). This will serve as the backdrop for your craft.
Pick out a few sticks to create a tree on the white cardstock paper. Glue the sticks to the paper.

Step 3. Arrange the Leaves
Allow the child to pick out their favorite leaves from their nature walk. Glue the leaves around the tree. Kids can pick similar leaves for their tree, or they can change the leaves up. For this tree, I used one type of leaf for the tree.

Use markers or crayons to draw details—like tree trunks, eyes for animals, or even glitter accents to make the leaves sparkle.
And just like that, your fall leaf craft is complete! Allow the sticks and leaves to dry. Once dry, display!
